Erin Feis 2008 has lots of new things to offer, from new bands, a new music venue - The Snug, and new food and drink options. Friday evening's opening will greet attendees at the gate with the rousing sounds of the pipes and a guest appearance by the national dog of Ireland, the Irish wolfhound. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes so you can dance the night away at the Crossroads Ceili!
2008 Entertainer Schedule Posted
It has taken six months of endless meetings for the entertainment committee to develop a line up of entertainment that we hope will provide something for everyone. After listening to more CD's then we can remember, checking websites, talking to other Irish festivals, talking to booking agents and dealing with mind numbing scheduling issues, we have finally come up with this year's schedule. Go to ENTERTAINMENT for the list of entertainers. Go to SCHEDULE for the current layout of all events listed this year at Erin Feis.
Now is the Time to Volunteer
400 volunteer application forms were mailed out June 1st to last year volunteers. Now is the time to sign-up if you want to volunteer. If you did not get a form, there is a volunteer application form listed on VOLUNTEERS. Do not wait, the more popular positions fill up fast on first come, first serve. If you have any questions contact Cheri, our Volunteer Coordinator. We need some extra help setting up and taking things down on Thursday and Monday, please sign up for this is you are available. And YES you can volunteer for more than 1 day is you want.
