Cultural Village
The Cultural Village enlightens everyone about Irish History and the Irish in Peoria. Directions to the village are as follows: from the main gate starting by the fountain, follow the river walkway north towards bridge. The Cultural Village is comprised of 2 main attractions: The Magical Ireland Tent and an educational venue called Hedge School. The Magical Ireland Tent has a mystical canvass showing nature and the wee folks and contains a wide variety of the plants and herbs of Ireland.

The Irish Grocer features candy, soda, sausage, teas, and the unexpected. The Ancient Order of Hibernians group sells raffle tickets for its annual "Trip to Ireland" and distributes information about their organization. The AOH features a complete history of the Great Famine and how it changed the world. The Friends of Clonmel features history regarding about our Sister City in Ireland. Ward Irish Music Archives displays pictures and a brief history of the many Irish-Americans that have entertained us since the founding of this country.
